Kiosk Mode Setup and Flow
Kiosk Mode Kiosk Mode allows companies to set up a device (iPad or iPhone) as a dedicated station for employees to clock in and out. This is particularly useful for high-traffic locations, where multiple employees need to use a single device to log their attendance.
Kiosk Mode is designed to be secure and simple, ensuring only authorized users can access or modify the system.
Managers and Admins can both set up and manage Kiosk Mode.
Setting Up Kiosk Mode To set up Kiosk Mode on an iOS device:
An Admin or Manager must log in to the Innclock AI app on the device intended for kiosk use.
Once logged in, navigate to the Kiosk mode in the settings page.
A PIN will be required to both activate and exit Kiosk Mode, ensuring only authorized users can make changes. This can be set up in the Kiosk Pin feature - and even read an already set PIN from here.
Choose the "Switch to Kiosk Mode" option, and enter the set Kiosk PIN.
The device is now ready for employees to clock in or out using their assigned authentication method (Face Recognition, QR code, NFC tag, or Direct).
Clocking In/Out via Kiosk Employees can clock in and out through the kiosk using one of the available methods. Just tap on the screen when the device is in standby mode to clock in.
Face Recognition: The kiosk will use its camera to detect and match the employee’s face for authentication.
QR Code: Employees can generate a QR code on their mobile app and scan it at the kiosk for clock-in/out.
NFC Tag: Employees can tap their registered NFC tag against the kiosk device for quick clock-ins and outs.
Kiosk Management The Manager or Admin has full control over kiosk operations:
Managers can manage clock-ins for their crew members.
Kiosk Mode can only be deactivated with the PIN used during setup.
